Ontario Nights
03:12
|
|||
Standing by the shoreline
Skimming stones across the water
Well Ontario rises cross my path and her winds describe her secrets to us
The bonfires burning distant in the night
And they’re right inside your eyes And I’m melting in this winter madness
But the howling wind keeps interrupting the moment
And your down on your knee’s
And you’re clinging to the ropes
the wind is blowing harder
You burst in to flames as the fires rise into the night
And Ontario keeps taking us higher
The last bit of smoke that we rolled into the night with
Has yet to finally go down and out
While Cayuga girls sitting by patiently waiting
for the storm on the beach to die down
Oh yeah taking those shots and finally losing count
Cause we’re staying out all night
‘til the morning sun finally comes around
And your down on your knee’s
And you’re clinging to the ropes
the wind is blowing harder
You burst in to flames as the fires rise into the night
And Ontario keeps taking us higher
And when the sun comes up I don’t want to go home Just want to hang round here and skim stones with you all day
You say it’s too cold
You say its too cold
You say it’s too fricking cold
Well, I’m burning up

All Night Long
02:39
|
|||
Music’s playing loud and fast
She was standing in the corner
waiting for someone to ask her to dance
Well tonight is way too young
and I know it’s just begun
But I could dance with you all night long
Hearts are pumping to that rock and roll beat
Everybody’s on the dance floor’s moving their feet
If you look real close, you’ll see my soul’s desire
You’ll have to cool me down ‘cause I’m on fire
Well I’m burning up for you
I hope you feel the same way too
Cause I can dance with you all night long
Midnight hour comes and goes
Band plays a final song real slow
And I’m holding you close
Cause tonight might be all we have
I got to know
If this song and dance will be the last
Let’s party tonight
got nothing tomorrow
We can crank up some music on my radio
Cause you know that I’m right
and we ain’t done with the night
And I can go
no need to take it slow
I could dance with you all night long

Kilimanjaro Skies
04:44
|
|||
I was meeting with some Big Game Hunters
at the “Sportsman Café”
It was another beautiful Tanzania day
I need to hire some local guy
I’m heading up that mountain side
Somewhere past the snowline
Way up high in those Kilimanjaro Skies
I ain’t looking for no “Lost City of Gold”
Blood Diamonds that were fought for and sold
I’m after a different prize
I heard those stories from the "Chaga" tribe
I’m looking for that place where elephants go to die
In those Kilimanjaro skies.
Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro
Way up high
somewhere lost in those Kilimanjaro skies
We’re Raiders of the places lost in history
Ancient tales of graveyards full of ivory
But legends often come along with a curse
But its hard to walk away
Its hard to walk away
Its hard to walk away
Cause in the end it’ll all be worth it
And they call me Bula Matari, Bula Matari,
Bula Matari, Bula Matari
We’re going way up high
Legends says that most of you’ll go blind
I like the odds it’s worth the risk
Think of all the money you’ll get
Somewhere in those Kilimanjaro skies.

Action Out There
03:29
|
|||
Simmer down, choose your words
Don’t bite your tongue, don’t lose your courage
You can’t sit and wait when it’s time to fight
You got to come out swinging hit with all your might
And the voices in the back of your head
got you spinning
Do it right it’s a new beginning
At the sound of the bell
the shot of the gun
When the whistle blows
we’re going to have some fun tonight
Monday night they shut the world off
Turn their televisions on to sports
Nothing ever really matters then
Everybody sitting happy, at their own front court
Last of the ninth
Final Round
Two-minute Warning comes
you don’t understand
you don’t even care
There’s “Action Out There”
Keep your cool don’t lose your head
Don’t drop your guard or you might drop dead
You can’t hold back when you draw first blood
You got to move in quick rub their face in the mud
And the roar of the crowd
seems to grow in assistance
Thumbs down chant
weakens your opponent’s resistance
Block that kick
steal that base
Knock him out
we’re going to win the race
Monday night they shut the world off
Turn their televisions on to sports
Nothing ever really matters then
Everybody sitting happy, at their own front court
Last of the ninth
Final Round
Two-minute warning comes
you don’t understand
you don’t even care
There’s “Action Out There”
Why don’t you sit down with me
Cause ready or not
It’s gonna come right down to the end
Can’t you pretend like you used to do.
Count is full
electricity is in the air
It’s time to wake up
open your eye’s
Cause there’s “Action Out There”
“Action Out There”

Nights On Fire
03:10
|
|||
You strike a match
Create a spark
That brings the flames
That light the dark
You stand and watch
As it all burns
and you absorb
What you have learned
The “Nights on Fire"
See how it goes
And who survives
Once it gets cold
The fire purifies the souls
Of any witches in the town
So every full moon you go out
And burn another down
The "Nights on Fire"
See how it goes
And who survives
In the morning you just look around
And see what’s left to do
From the night before
Everything’s still smoking
Everyone has gone
And the sun has finally broken through
The cycle comes around
And once again you’re howling at the moon
You can’t relax
you strike a match
You know exactly what to do
The "Nights on Fire"
See how it goes
And who survives
Once it gets cold

Right Or Wrong Choice
04:55
|
|||
After a while you’ll forget him
Even the right or wrong choice
He’ll break your heart if you let him
Even the right or wrong choice
Don’t ever give your heart to him
Don’t ever lose control
Cause if the world should end tomorrow
It’ll be all right
You were just searching for the right man
So, you hide inside your bottle
‘til he’s in your site
For another one-night stand
Deep inside you know you’re lost
You swear you love with your fingers crossed
Don’t ever give your heart to him
Don’t ever lose control
Cause if the world should end tomorrow
It’ll be all right
You were just searching for the right man
So, you hide inside your bottle
‘til he’s in your site
For another one-night stand
Say your prayers
each night before you pass out
Play “Spin the Bottle”
and wake up on some stranger’s couch
You whisper
“Shiver me Timbers” and “Rattle my Bones”
I guess it’s better than waking up alone
Cause if the world should end tomorrow
It’ll be all right
Cause if the world should end tomorrow
It’ll be all right

The Vault
04:22
|
|||
Been sitting at home thinking a lot
‘Bout all those times I never forgot
My brains been doing somersaults
About every night when we’d closed the Vault
I remember those faces and some of the names
But we spent too much time trying to blow out our brains
drank all night til we got our fill
then we’d hit the diner in Richmondville
that one-armed man always had a gun tucked inside his pants
And if you skipped out on the bill
He might shoot you in the back
Days and nights when we had no money
And we were in our prime
And we swore that we would always be
Blood brothers til the end of time
I still remember that Winter Day
When the Vault burned to the ground
And all the faculty on campus
Blamed us for everything in town
It could of been an inside job
Or a message sent by the local Mob
The cops were in it for the kill
But we learned a few things in Richmondville
And that one-armed man always had a gun tucked inside his pants
And if you tried to pull a fast one
Better watch your back
Days and nights when we had no money
And we were in our prime
We swore that we would always be
Blood brothers til the end
Brothers til the end of time
I remember those faces and some of the names
Still hear the screams, feel the heat from the flames
Stick to that story, someone else can take the blame
We’re brothers til the end
“Blood Brothers” til the end
til the end of time.
Well even though we fought and shouted
No one ever talked about it
The papers really made a fuss
But the charges wouldn’t stick to us
When it all died down and we returned
To dig up what we all had earned
we opened up that money sack
And I shot each brother in the back
Cause I learned a lot from that one-armed man
And what he had to do
Sometimes you got to pull the trigger
Before it is done to you
We’re brothers til the end
“Blood Brothers” til the end
‘til the end of time

Bonnie And Clyde
04:29
|
|||
Drunk out of my mind
somewhere down by “Dead-Man’s Curve”
I saw rattlesnake in the middle of the road
And it reminded me of her
She used to call me Charlie
And she was my Caril Ann
I guess I should have known better
When I saw her with that rifle in her hands
I knew someday she’d get me killed
But I just became addicted to the thrill
She had those bright blue eyes
And a Dark Soul
She looked at me and I lost control
She took me on that magic carpet ride
She had a fast smile
And a Grifter’s Heart
I knew she was trouble right from the start
The Cops chased us around
like we were Bonnie and Clyde
Soon enough I built a crew
Well, she made all the plans
told us what to do
She said “Banks were too easy
Armored Cars were a much better high”
We’d always hit the messenger
as he refilled ATM
Take him down
before he’d call any problems in
all that time we were being watched by the FBI
I knew someday she’d get me killed
But I’d become addicted to the thrill
She had those bright blue eyes
And a Dark Soul
She looked at me and I lost control
She took me on that magic carpet ride
She had a fast smile
And a Grifter’s Heart
I knew she was trouble right from the start
The Cops chased us around
like we were Bonnie and Clyde
Something went very wrong that day
She was the only one that got away
I keep spinning around and around
in my head like a song
Then I learned she was working
with the Feds all along
I knew, I knew, I knew
I fell for it all
she was too cool to be true
She had those bright blue eyes
And a Dark Soul
She looked at me and I lost control
She took me on that magic carpet ride
She had a fast smile
And a Grifter’s Heart
I knew she was trouble right from the start
The Cops chased us around
like we were Bonnie and Clyde
